The 3 steps, with a tip for you

  1. Put toothpaste on the brushParent tip: A pea-sized amount is enough.
  2. Brush teethParent tip: Top, bottom, front, and back - about 2 minutes.
  3. Rinse toothpaste from mouthParent tip: After finishing, you can give a high five.

Make it a quest instead of a reminder

Instead of repeating the instruction, start with a tiny story. In Mess Monsters this routine opens like this: “Bathroom Bubble is waiting for help brushing teeth. Shall we do the steps together so things feel fresh and calm?”

You stay the game master. Your child does the real step, you confirm it on your phone, and Bathroom Bubble gets a little happier with every step. The phone stays with the adult; the routine happens in the real world.
