Mess Monsters is a parent-operated routine helper. The app does not create child accounts, require registration, or ask children to provide personal information.
Local Data
Routine progress, quest history, saved routines, reward stars, family goals, Time for Myself usage, and child profiles are stored locally on your device whenever possible.
Camera and Photos
Mess Monsters may ask for camera access for Photo Rescue quests and the optional victory photo / Monster Visit reward.
Camera images, Photo Rescue photos, and victory photos are processed and stored locally on your device. Mess Monsters does not upload those photos to our servers.
Analytics
Mess Monsters uses first-party anonymous analytics to understand how the app is used and improve reliability. No personal data is collected. Analytics can be disabled anytime in App Settings.
Analytics may include anonymous interaction events such as opened screens, feature usage, or whether a quest was completed or abandoned. We do not include child names, photos, custom routine text, contacts, precise location, or microphone recordings.
Time for Myself
Time for Myself is an in-app timer quest. It does not lock the device, limit apps, control the operating system, or manage system usage settings. It only helps a parent set a calm time goal inside Mess Monsters.
Purchases
If you purchase Parent Pass, the transaction is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Monthly and yearly subscription options may be available in the app.
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell personal data. We do not share child data with advertisers. We do not create child accounts. We do not upload Photo Rescue or victory photos to our servers.
